Now it just so happens that girls love princesses. And this 2 1/2 year old is taking royalty to heart. A few days ago Eliza told me (sweetly--but with conviction) "I'm so beautiful as the rainbow!" and "I'm the Queen of the world!" Then just yesterday...not so sweetly...she put me in time-out. And as she shut the door behind her she saucily stated, "You're in time-out since (throw head back) I'm the Queen!"

Ha! Who's ruling who? That reminds me of when I taught Ashley to sing "When my mommy calls me, quickly I obey." As soon as she learned it, she changed the words..."When my Ashley calls me, quickly I obey." How true it is.
